Monster Finger Games are still hard at work continuing development of Alien Scumbags. In an upcoming exclusive interview with Pixel Hideout, lead developer James stated that he has further content plans for a final boss and a new level. However, beyond that, what can we expect from the studio? I asked just that in the aforementioned interview.
First, James was keen to stress that his focus remains on development for Alien Scumbags. He told me that “It’s very early days at the moment as [we’re] concentrating on finishing Alien Scumbags.” When pressed a little further about the title though he revealed that the game would be “…inspired partly by Super Meat Boy.” He also told me the current name for the project, which is “Funkin Delicious”. So a Super Meat Boy inspired food rhythm game? Yeah, your guess is as good as mine.
“We have penned out an idea for the next game called Funkin Delicious, it’s very early days at the moment as [we’re] concentrating on finishing Alien Scumbags.”
Stay tuned to Pixel Hideout for more news from Monster Finger Games, as well as a full interview transcript next week. In the meantime, you can pick-up Alien Scumbags on Steam for £6.19.
